Every year there is one team in Denver to take the Boot until the next year. This year, Rarebird beat out Cat Team in a strong defensive showing. Some photos here.
My parents were in town for the past week. It was nice to see them and spend some time with them. They enjoyed our Colorado weather (sun) and riding bikes around Denver. They even joined the Denver Cruisers for a Wednesday night ride and my dad went in the Circle of Death!

We took first! Undefeated in the Vail Kickball Classic! We beat the Blue Ballers (former Super Villians) twice! Only 4 runs were scored against us all day and we shut out three teams!
This morning Shaun and I got up early and drove to Vail. We rode up Mill Creek road with Dan to Joint Point, over Red Benchmark Mountain, through Vail's backbowls to PHQ. From PHQ we did the Grand Traverse to Eagle's Nest, then rode down Vail's front side.

Wendy joined me for Meghan's wedding on Saturday evening. It was a nice, small, simple wedding at the Sunrise Amphitheater on Flagstaff Mountain just outside of Boulder.
Stacia and I drove up to Vail on Wednesday evening and I hit the dirt with Jeff and Mel the next morning. We had been planning to do a long ride on the Colorado Trail, but bailed on that because of weather.
Stacy and Shaun invited me over to have stuffed peppers with them and their friend Stephanie who was in from out of town. Shaun ate a lot of cheese and played with his camera, as evidenced by this photo:
