Koura romping in the fresh snow
Koura came to work with me today. Before heading into the office where she needs to behave we went out and played in the fresh snow. The light snow on the Flatirons is great today.

Grand Targhee
Yesterday we went over to Grand Targhee. This was a far better choice than the day before. The sun was out and the snow was soft.

Jackson Hole
To continue my month of traveling I went to Jackson Hole, Wyoming from Tuesday until today with some old friends from college. The conditions at Jackson Hole on Wednesday were a bit rough. Most of the day we were riding in and out of the clouds and it was pretty icy. Not a good combination on a mountain as steep as that. We were able to explore and have some fun though.
A few more photos here.

Visit with the grandparents
Grandpa is turing 90 in April so it was really nice to see them doing so well. I took the two hour drive up to Lady Lake last week when I was at KSC to visit them.

Taos Ski Valley
Taos was great. I am glad they finally opened the mountain to snowboarders. Lexey and I had a fun trip. The sun and snow were perfect.

Kennedy Space Center - Old Complex Exploration
Seb and I were sort of on call during our time down at Kennedy Space Center. We had to jump if the scientists or the other Bioservants needed our help. So, we went and drove around KSC and the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) and explored old launch sites. Many of the buildings were falling apart and we could easily get into them and explore. Some really cool stuff. I love wandering around ruins. Certainly my favorite site was the old Complex 34 which was the site of the Apollo 1 fire in 1967.
Photo album here.

Kennedy Space Center
I am on a work trip for a few days to Kennedy Space Center in Florida near Cocoa Beach. Not a terrible place to be during February. We (work) have a payload call CGBA-6 going up to the International Space Station aboard Space Shuttle Endeavour as part of the STS-130 mission. Unless something terrible happens, we are pretty much done with work for the trip now since hand-over of our stuff is happening in about 90 minutes. Seb and I drove around and got as close as we could to Launchpad 39A, where the shuttle is right now, and took some photos.
Many more photos here.
