Kitchen Remodel - microwave and first shelves

When I got home yesterday, the microwave was hung along with the first few shelves. Today there are a few more shelves. The bottom shelf along the brick wall is not finished yet. It is looking pretty much as I envisioned it. Tomorrow the fridge shows up!

Evergreen Mountain and Three Sisters

Sunday Ryan and I went out for a ride. We hit up Evergreen Mountain and Three Sisters in Evergreen for a good morning ride:

Granite Installation

The granite countertops are installed and beautiful. I just hope they are not too busy. The house smells like glue and sealant.

Tiny Cabin

When Lexey and I were in Plattsburgh for a weekend in July we stayed in a "Tiny Cabin" we found on Airbnb.

The place was great. It really is tiny, but suitable. The bed is reached via ladder. The toilet is an RV toilet. The shower has instant hot water. There are dishes and such to cook with. The lake is just past the main house with a great dock!

We invited Shaun and Stacy over one evening for cheese and crackers with some beer on the dock. Great time.

Kitchen Remodel - base cabinets

The past few days have been focusing on getting ready for the countertops. The base cabinets are framed out and anchored to the walls. The granite template has been done and the countertops will be installed tomorrow!

Lexey and I were away in Vail for the weekend. When we came back Ryan had finished the floor and painted the walls. It is all set now for putting in some cabinets!

Mountain biking in Vail with Lexey and Melanie

Since having the baby, Melanie has been really busy. Lexey and I got her out for an easy 12 miler on some dirt up Red Sandstone Road. Great scenery back there.
