Went over to Denver Pro Photo today and picked up a Lensbaby Composer with the Double Glass Optic and a Fisheye Optic. Fun stuff. Here are a few shots from this afternoon playing with it.

Estes Park
Last night Lexey and I went up to Estes Park to spend time with her family and then spent the day there today in the cabin her parents rented. The scenery was great, as always in that area...

Christmas with the family
Yesterday was a good time. Lexey came over and Sean came down from Leadville with his dog Moose.

PhotoFriday: Best of 2009
I have quite a few photos from 2009 which I would list as my best and it is hard to choose just one. I guess I will go with this one from Lucca, Italy in the heart of Tuscany.

Vail - Good to be back
I always love returning to the slopes of Vail. Yesterday I rode there with Dan, Brienne, Jeff, Melanie, and John C.

Crock Pot Cooking
Current music: Jimi Hendrix - All Along the Watchtower
This past weekend I bought a crock pot. I have always wanted to get one, but just never did. I have already used it twice. The first thing I made was a green chile soup. I found the recipe for it on the back of a can of Hatch Green Chile Enchilada sauce. So tasty.

Colorado's Cyclocross State Championships
Today was Colorado Veldrijden Crusade 3 (the state championships) for cyclocross. Photos are here: http://www.lennym.com/colorado-cycling/2009-championships.
After the snow earlier this week, there was a fair bit of mud on the course:

Strong Correlation
Current music: Spoon - Written in Reverse
I am seeing a strong correlation between when I shoot photos at a cyclocross race and the number of hits I get on my website.
